Subscription licence · you bring the trunk · 14-day free trial

Pricing

Earshot is a desktop application with a subscription licence. The download is free; the subscription gives you a licence key. You bring the SIP trunk, so call minutes are billed by your provider, not by us — typically around a cent a minute on US routes.

Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime; you keep the download.

Licensing, in plain terms

Is the download free?

Yes. Download the app for macOS or Windows without an account. Without a licence key it runs in SIM mode — the whole pipeline against a local fake IVR. A key unlocks live calls through your trunk.

Where does the licence key come from?

From the subscription. Start a trial and the key is in your confirmation email and on your account page. Paste it into the console once; it is stored in the Keychain or Credential Manager, not in a file.

How do seats work?

A seat is one person. Solo is one seat on the machines that person uses. Team is three seats or more under one licence; add or remove seats from the account page and the next invoice is prorated. Enterprise is a programme licence sized to the migration.

Does it work offline?

The app runs, records and transcribes entirely on your machine, and the console never needs the internet. The key is checked against the licence server periodically; a laptop can be off the network for weeks before it asks to check in. Air-gapped installs are an Enterprise option.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, from the account page. The key stays valid to the end of the paid period, and after that the app keeps working in SIM mode with all of your scenarios, runs and recordings intact — they are files on your disk, not records on ours.

What does the trial include?

Fourteen days of the plan you picked, in full. No call-minute allowance is needed because the calls go through your own trunk.

Do I pay for call minutes?

No. You bring your own SIP trunk and your provider bills the minutes directly. Typically around a cent a minute on US routes; toll-free and international differ.

What happens to my data?

It stays on your machine. Recordings, transcripts and results are stored locally and there is no telemetry. That is true on every tier; Team mode's shared evidence server is opt-in and runs where you put it.
